This bug has been there since bosses came out... years ago. During the initial fight if a Boss heals, they will heal to full. This includes Emma, Anders, GolGol, Blackroot.

I don't think they plan to fix it, maybe we should just sticky this as a symbol of shame for the devs who keep adding new Content/Bosses without fixing old bugs. Just delete the bosses at this point.

25 Ozymandias struck and dealt 25 damage to Blackroot the Forest Shepherd. 4721/5000
201/201 Blackroot the Forest Shepherd used its roots to Life Drain and gained 140 HP 4746/5000
6 Deimos struck and dealt 6 damage to Blackroot the Forest Shepherd. 4606/5000


131/131 Blackroot the Forest Shepherd used its roots to Life Drain and gained 140 HP 5000/5000
5 Naruto Uzumaki struck and dealt 5 damage to Blackroot the Forest Shepherd. 4822/5000


161/163 Blackroot the Forest Shepherd used its roots to Life Drain and gained 140 HP 5000/5000
3 Shinji_Ikari struck and dealt 3 damage to Blackroot the Forest Shepherd. 4769/5000

Deletion would be a bit extreme. Devs, please take the time to revise the affected bosses and fix the issue.

It really is annoying to have a Blackroot fight extended by 10 minutes due to it healing to full HP more than once because of a bug. If the bug can't/won't be fixed, then it should be made impossible for Blackroot to heal itself when it's above 4500 HP.

At this point, it's a feature.

If you don't like it, raise your attack and strength until you can one-hit them out of the conditions that allow full heals.
