Arrr, me mateys! I feel it's time we got a proper feel for the state of the stockhouse.

I'll be reporting on how the stockhouse is doing every time we replenish our scurvy dogs at the Nose. Now then, let's see how we're doing!

As f-arrr as bars go, we have about a quarter (4316) of the iron bars we'll need for the next invasion (16500). If you want to help the pirates, this is where we need the most help!

Steel and silver bars are better, we have 1.05 and 1.65 invasions' worth of them respectively. That's still bad though - and some work on them wouldn't go amiss!
Gold is ridiculous. We have 60 invasions worth. If our Captain waited 14 days between each invasion, we have 851 days worth of it... More than enough.

There will be no need for brigantine construction for 11 invasions - and even after that, we have enough wood to build enough for 7 more invasions before we run into trouble. That's 252 days in total, among our highest supply.

In terms of cooked fish, we have 1.72 invasions' worth of cooked salmon, 3.067 invasions' worth of cooked macks, 6.11 invasions' worth of cooked pike, 10.043 invasions worth of cooked cod and 10.448 invasions' worth of cooked herring.

That's a concerningly low amount of salmon, and we should focus somewhat on restoring it. Mackerel could also use some help - but pike, cod and herring are fine for now.

As far as most raw materials go, we have plenty for now - only iron ore and coal are a little low (enough iron ore to supply 0.668 invasions, and enough coal to supply 0.9868 invasions) - so if you want to supply raw materials, you probably can't go wrong with iron and coal (so long as we have people smelting them)

TL;DR:

We have 0.26 invasions' worth of iron, and just a single invasion's worth of steel bars, silver bars and cooked salmon. They should be restored with priority!

Now, let us go forth and supply the stockhouse! For the pirates!!

Arrr! Time for the second Piracy Post!

The amount of iron bars in the SH increased to 5510 at this point - still just 33% of an invasion, but better than nothing! We can do better, though!
The supply of steel bars has now decreased further to 1.029. This is a slow loss, but it's starting to get concerning. EDIT: I handled this personally. We're now up to 3 invasions' worth of steel bars. Plenty!
Silver bars are now down at 1.18 invasions too - which is similarly concerning. Get smithing, people!

On the topic of fish, the salmon situation is worsening. We're now down to 1.22 invasions' worth. Just as bad as the silver bars, now! A few more people need to be focusing on that...
Nobody donated macks last invasion, so we're down to 2.067 invasions' worth. Still decent, but worth monitoring...
Pike are steadily decreasing, but there's still 5 invasions' worth.
Someone seems to be donating a little cod lately - 40% of an invasion's worth. Nice contribution, but we already have 10 invasions' worth. Similarly, herring are getting cooked at a rapid pace - a full invasion's worth. We now have 11 invasions' worth of herring - plenty!

There's nothing of particular concern happening regarding raw fish. However, notably, the ores in the stockhouse have been depleting rapidly! Well done to all the smiths, half an invasion's worth of iron bars are sitting in the stockhouse thanks to your efforts - and nearly all of the steel bars sitting there, too!

TL;DR - Salmon is getting very worrying, mackerel is almost in the same boat - and both steel AND silver bars are degrading rapidly. The iron bar situation is still bad, but improving - and we can thank our smiths in Skull's Nose for nearly our entire current stock of steel bars. If you want to help, you can't go wrong providing iron or steel bars, or cooking some salmon! In fact, even a good supply of iron ore (or coal) wouldn't go amiss...

Arr pirates! It is time again, for another piracy post! Though a little late, it is still informative.

We now have enough iron bars for 0.96 invasions (15957) - which just goes to show how quickly they accumulate! Very good job to all of our smelters this cycle.
The number of steel bars have increased again to 5.4 invasions' worth (27337). 76 days - far from a concern at this point. It'll hit the cap soon organically if this keeps up.
Silver bars are better than last week, at 1.73 invasions' worth (8658) - we could use a few more of these, but priority is on the iron bars.

Who's been cooking salmon and macks? You've done a fine job! We're up to 2 invasions' worth on both (7578, 6447), a first for the piracy post. Congratulations! Let's keep it up.

Pike are slowly declining, but there's still 4.8 invasions worth (67 days - 14374) - not a problem, at least for now.

Raw fish remain high. We have 7 full invasions' worth of raw salmon (25714), but that's pretty good in comparison to the ore situation.

The number of iron ore and coal have both increased - so much so, that coal has broken cap. Probably not a bad thing for now, but it WAS a low cap...

A bunch of brigantines have been built, and the amount of wood seems to hve increased atop that. As a fun mention: If no more wood was donated, the amount we have, plus the brigantines we have, would last the pirates just over 318 days. Wow!

Arrr! Another invasion, another piracy post!
We're at 8397 iron bars, with 16500 required for next invasion - so halfway there. Low as usual, but i'm sure we can make it again! Push, pirates! Push!
Silver bars are starting to get concerningly low too - 6628 bars means we only have enough for 1.325 invasions. We're gonna want to improve that soon! I may throw my hat into the ring there this week...
The cooked salmon and mackerel situation is improving rapidly! 3.2 and 3.9 invasions' worth respectively. This is a huge improvement on last time! Keep it up! At this rate, only bars will be a real concern going forwards...

Someone's donating iron ore, which will only help the situation! Thanks to whoever that is!

At this point, priority should be on gathering iron and silver bars - with cooked salmon and macks after that, and more steel bars / pike as a distant 3rd priority. I'm sure we can get there together! Let's give it all we got!

This is a special issue of the Piracy post. I have gained captaincy, and will use this 'ere newsletter to keep you up to date with the coming plans.

Remember, remember, the 19th of September. If 'yer a fisher or cook, gather together as much cooked salmon and mackerel as you can. If we get enough, i'll make sure that Talk Like A Pirate Day is a day to remember, arrrharharhar.

On the resource situation: We have 10,000 iron bars. Considering we need 16.5k per invasion, i'll place this on red alert - all hands on deck, we need those bars smelted down. The SH is filled with 15k iron ores at this point, and we have people ready to keep it filled - head to 'tha nose and help out if 'ya can!

We have 31,000 steel bars, enough for 6 invasions. There's absolutely no concern there.
We have 15,000 silver bars - enough for 3 invasions. That's plenty, and we don't really need to worry about it - if you're gonna do bars to help, iron's your go-to.
Gold remains excessive.

We have 7873 cooked salmon, and 6823 cooked mackerel - 2.2 invasions' worth on both counts. If 'ya want 'ta cook, that's where we need you!

Pike is at 3.977 invasions' worth, and cod and herring are at 9.8 and 14.08 - each of them showin' a fair bit 'a excess.

As far 'a raws, we have plenty. On the topic of ores, we have 5877 coal - but with steel so high, that ain't a worry. We've got 15681 iron ores, and it's all being smelted down - turning it inta' bars has to be the priority right now, but if it gets under 10k and 'ya have a good mining level, may be worth stocking it back up...

Given ah've become cap'n, I want 'ta breathe some life inta' the pirates. The 19th of september approaches, and ah do wonder if we'll gather enough materials (macks & salmon) to make it truly fun, or if we'll have to skip it this year... I'll do what ah can, but it's a team effort... Regardless, there's one thing that's in my power to do NOW.

Once the next invasion caps, if we have 16500 (or more) iron bars, ah'll open up brigantines, and let it ride. We'll build hundreds, to carry our scurvy dogs to the mainlands. Ah've made arrangements with one'a our woodcutters to keep the SH full for as long'a possible, so... Feel free to join us, and bring 'yer own hammers! We built 300 Brigantines this invasion! And our wood stockpiles were unharmed (mostly) in the end. I hope you all enjoyed the event!

Last invasion, we did an INCREDIBLE job. We have 36153 iron bars - enough for 2.19 invasions! Iron does remain our lowest resource, so if you want to help, I strongly encourage you to work on that.

Silver bars get an honorable mention - at 13502 bars, we have 2.7 invasions' worth. As our second lowest refined resource, we could use some more!

The cooks have done an incredible job. We now have 4.7 invasions' worth of salmon, instead of 2.25... I still request more, in preparation for a future event. Other than that, pike are relatively low - with 'only' 3.6 invasions' worth. If you want to help, cook either Pike or Salmon!

Interestingly, our supplies of raw macks and salmon are declining at a disturbing rate - only 9.4k / 11.7k of each. If you want to fish, we could certainly use those raws!

Finally, iron ore is remaining stable around the mid-10k's. This is a good level, and while more could help, right now we need smelters more than miners. Barely.

Arrr me maties! It's time for a very special piracy post!

I ran an experiment last invasion - 450 normal pirates sent, and we had no issues. With that in mind, I decided to start strategically changing the number of pirates sent.

The lowest 4 pirates - each of which iron bar, cod and herring consumers - had their numbers reduced to 450. This should reduce the demand for iron bars in the psh.

Keeping in mind the fact that we seem to have a lot of people who enjoy smelting steel, I upped the number of peglegs - who use steel and mackerel - to 750. This should allow you to keep smelting steel indefinitely, and should mean that they cap at the same time as Hooked pirates - creating a small bit of distraction if the landlubbers start trying to kill specific invasions!

The number of Buccaneers was also upped to 600, so they cap at the same time as Hooked Pirates. In summary, we now have 4 pirate types that cap at one point in time, and 3 who cap at another. This will lead to significantly higher mackerel consumption, and somewhat increased pike and silver bar consumption - so we have to keep that in mind!

I hope to make this a permanent change, as I feel that it will be very viable as a long-term high-success-rate strategy - and shift our focus towards higher level materials, which i'm sure everyone is happy about.

Speaking of which, the changes HAVE caused a small shift in our psh demands!
We have 3 invasions worth (at LEAST) of all bars - and despite the huge increase in steel bar consumption, we have 5 invasions worth of that. If you want to help the pirates, I suggest you focus on fish!

Yes, FISH. We now have less invasions' worth of mackerel and pike than iron - only 2 invasions' worth of each. Macks in the worse position (2.11 vs 2.79) - so, all hands on deck, let's aim for 18,000 mackerel and 14,400 pike (at time of writing, we have 9514 and 10073 respectively).

As far as raws go, we only have 9235 macks - if we hit my target for macks this invasion, we'll run out. So i'll also request large amounts of raw mackerel in the stockhouse.

We've done a great job so far, and it's all thanks to your efforts! Let's show these landlubbers what we're made of!

The sh is looking pretty, with at least 2 invasions' worth of all resources in storage! But more work is always needed! Iron in particular could use some help. The larger invasion numbers appeared to work, and so they will remain!

The larger invasions are working perfectly! But more resources are still needed! Thank you, to whoever is keeping the iron high - 60,000 bars directly after the sh reopens is incredible!

We now need cooked mackerel and - to a tiny extent - silver bars more than iron. Steel is decreasing, but still among the bars in high supply - but a bit of coal would be good insurance. With that in mind:

TARGET: 24,000 silver bars. CURRENT: 23,760 silver bars
TARGET: 18,000 cooked mackerel. CURRENT: 16155 cooked mackerel.
TARGET: 10,000 coal. CURRENT: 1381 coal.

Other than that, we can just use an excess of cooked salmon, in preparation for a future mega-invasion. Our supply of that is now 30,982 -- but we can do better than that, surely? ;)

After the mega-invasion, we're now in a recovery period. All hands on deck! We are desperate for a few resources.

Cooked salmon and Mackerel are now TOP PRIORITY - We have 1 invasion of mackerel, and less than that (!!!) of salmon, so resupplying them is something we cannot afford to fail in.
We have 2 invasions' worth of iron bars, which will keep us going a little while.
We have around 1.5 invasions' worth of silver bars - but my clan has an absolute
ton. I have us covered there.

For now, top priority is on cooked and raw salmon - if you have a cooking level that'll allow you to cook them without burning them, please head to Nose! If you can fish them, please head to BBay! Raw stocks are low, so fishers are more required than cooks at this stage.

While many resources are at an all-time high, the usual suspects are getting to a scary place (1.02 invasions' worth of iron, 1.003 invasions' worth of macks). All hands on deck for these two resources, please! We have a TON of iron ore, so we just need smelters.
