I thought we could have an easily accessed list of new player greetings that we can all easily copy and paste from.

I have a short list I keep in my journal and I recycle that. If the game gets a more steady stream of new players, and I do believe we will now that Borneo owns it, then I want a lot more greetings I can use so I don't get to sound like the Bot that new players think I am lol.

I will paste the few I have and I will also be adding any good ones I see in history. You can all post yours and I will add them to this main post to keep them all together. Delete your post once it is added.

I haven't figured an easier way, I'm always on my phone.
I'm getting faster though!

Pretty sure everyone joining the game is already aware the games name is syrnia. I'll vote for a short version.

Welcome (player name)! Feel free to ask any game related questions here while you venture through the tutorial.

Note: Telling them it's 9 steps is not needed and removes curiosity from their excited eyes.

Personally I like for them to come to me for answers, and I dislike spoon feeding them everything. Part of the fun with any new game is learning the unknown and mystery.

I think it comes down to several key points.
1 welcome by name
2 point out that help is available for questions
3 they come in in a tutorial and there is more to the game than what they are seeing.

As long as your greetings have those components it is your choice.
