ya haz please, i mean its cool to get free xp and all, but i worked when i could get on to open these caves, and that was over a week of waiting, thats cool lots of building up to the opening of the caves...

Then i finally see they are open and i get to LC10 and have to mine/construct 60ish hours of work even to get in.....this sucks

I mean don't get me wrong, awesome idea's here, awesome there is a new cave set, but plz do something for those of us that don't get much log in time and such, heck i'd take 0 xp to do 1000 actions to open over 60 hours of sitting.

that being said is there any way to make this go a little faster? or those of us that would accept the loss of xp in mining/construction to open the path sooner?

And what is the total actions that need to be done?

I feel cheated. Was there when I could get on line. and to be out by 27 actions ... makes wish I hadn't bothered. Nice idea but knowing there was a target and how close to the target you are may have been useful! Really rather peeved right now.

Crow if you were 27 off I believe you will only need to do 27 actions to finish the quest.

from what I have heard the cave is only open at certain times and I am unlikely to be around then.

I'm happier for the 5 levels and loads of free stuff I got getting them!

#251 after missing both weekends ill take it if you haven't got enough actions just make your way to LC 10 and finish it off, it's not unfair at all.

Entry to the new area is gained through LC10, again make your way there...

Im fine with it as I cant fight those dragons and really shouldnt be down there anyway

How do you get to LC 10?

At Arch 4.5 the link to enter Lost Caves becomes available at certain times. I'm not sure of the times it opens. I believe its about every 4hrs or so.

Been working there for a week but get a penalty for being busy when they worked ar LC10. I feel cheated on!

how come those who found the time to work at heerchey ...got drops for their efforts , when those who could,nt find the time get absolutely nothing at lc 10 ?

Because we didnt join in with the full group event which carried over into the personal quest. Lots of people simply let other do it thinking they would get access and took advantage of lower timers and such, so this balances it.

We players that have not help a lot get even a penalty that is our drop

i feel totally cheated in this i worked at heerchy when i could used my hp to get down here and now have to sit for close to 60 hours with no gain other then xp in skills i don't train. in the end i have to use the time i am able to get on sitting here at lc10 with no drops, no entrance to ac5, and this may take me over a month.

i feel this is not the best the team could do. don't get me wrong its great to gain free xp in mining/construction. but like i said before i'd rather lose the xp or have the xp subtracted from my totals just to access the new caves. mainly because the xp in mining or construction gains me nothing as i NEVER used these skills other then to get to beset catacombs

plz mod team make an alturnitive way of accessing ac5 for those of us that don't have the time or want to do these skills to open the caves

whiners will whine...I dont train other than mining...jesus just stop the complaining.

evert i see your point but why force ppl to work 1 of 2 skills just because they couldn't be online and working the event. its like "u don't play enough so we are penalizing you"

my main issue is i'm lucky if i get in 4 hours a day, but having 50+ hours of work left just to get into the caves is 50+ hours of lost xp in a skill i actually want to train, and x amount of xp in a skill that has absoutly no use to me

It's a requirement to get in, and it's actually completely fair...there were plenty of chances to do the appropriate amount of actions when there were drops involved. If you didn't do them then, it's nobody else's fault that you have to do them now without drops. I remember similar whining about needing mining lvl 30 to access Beset when anasco opened.

If you wanna whine bout this, then don't go to AC5 Simple as that.

all i see in this is: i have to spend the little time i can get online to do a task i have no want to do, and its because i couldn't spend every open hour i had doing the event at heerchy manor. i feel this is totally unfair to those of us who can't play 10+ hours a day.

at 4 hours online (and thats if i'm lucky) a day it will take me 2 weeks from now to access the caves. i donated my hard earned money to this game and feel its wrong to do this in this manor and think many ppl would agree to add an alternative way to get in.

just saw someone post 7381 actions to get in, whats with these numbers everyone's is different.....

honestly i'm disappointed in this and very upset its being handled this way, call me a whiner or say i'm complaining all u want. in the end it just makes me wonder if my hard earned money was worth even adding to this game, let alone if its worth playing if i'm going to be penalized for not being online and working on events to get into a new area.

Syrnia is a FREE game. Please do not complain about wasting your money on DONATIONS here, they don't buy you anything to benefit you.

I dont mine, but I have 60+ hours of mining to do to have access. I'm not happy, but I'm not (seriously) complaining..just the occasional bitch in jest. It's just a game, relax.

If you dont want to put the time in, you dont have to. Having access is an option, just like being a Pirate is an option, going to the OL is an option, ect.

I agree with Ryuuk and Affy...if you don't want to do it, don't go to arch cave 5...if you don't want to get mining 30, fight somewhere other than beset...if you don't want to have to train combat, stick to smelting silver or mining gold or platty.

I looked at is as a reward for those who helped, not a penalty for those who didn't. They gave an exceptional amount of time and were rewarded for it, the rest of us gain access the typical way and the way that players will have to for years to come.

Further to a message sent to Haz. I apologize for my earlier comments, it was a good event. I was just frustrated at the result and it came at the end of a particularly crappy day at work.

Never let it be said I won't admit when I am wrong ... it just doesn't happen that I am wrong very often ;)

People are not being penalized for not having the time.. they are doing the required quest for the caves, where as those who joined in are being rewarded for taking the time to do all the skills.
It's like saying you feel cheated that others get a reward for clearing out an invasion when you didn't, even though you didn't do as much work, regardless of when you can and can't get on, fact is, some people could..

But no point trying to reason when you can't please everyone, thank you Haz, it was a bunch of fun, most seem happy

I came in 17th in this (yes, yes I do have too much time one my hands), but I have to say, complaining about not being able to have access because you didnt do enough actions is the same as if I complained because I can't use the AC5 yet either - Im CL 14 RAWR *sounds more like meow* I have yet to do enough "actions" in the area of combat XD

And this quick xp is nice addition imo , would hurt me more to see timer 80 while mining coal instead 45 here . Easy xp is always good.
Besides going there when below cl100 doesnt seem a good idea if u ask me, unless one want to hunt DD's there .
