Here is the question:

Nine individual pieces of paper can be numbered, so that the sum of the numbers on 2 randomly chosen pieces of paper totals to an integer from 2 to 12 with the same frequency as rolling two standard dice. What are the numbers on the nine pieces of paper?

Correct solutions will consist of the 9 values found on the 9 pieces of paper.

I sware to god that this is impossible, even when you use negertives and 0 I don't think that thaer is a permutation that succeads.

0 and minas numbers can be used.

I've been beaten so im offering this advice openly to help anybody else simply because I want the awanser to surpress my curiosity.

OK I had another look and came up with this, not sure about it but I think i'm on the right lines.
