| So this is a post for sharing the info about who got a scroll of what type, doing what, and whatever info you might find useful. Of course, only for those willing to share with the community ;)
I'll start: Got 1 Scroll of the Palace fighting at Rima barracks.
Edit: This was presumably the first scroll being dropped, or at least talked about in public chats. Got it the 22 of May going by the date I posted in forums (could not remember off the top of my head). I had fought at Rima barracks for about a week if I remember right when I got it. The crowding was low (1-4 others mostly except at certain times), and finally with my stats I can 2-3 hit the critters pretty well usually.

edit: I got a scroll of ancient wood fighting at the rima barracks for about a week, two weeks after no other scrolls.

| so far scrolls have been mentioned woodcutting, mining, combat fishing.
it can be determined from what has been discovered that the amount appears to be random, some have gotten within a couple hundred actions, some thousands. this would deduce that it is a random chance per action counter similar to normal drops.
From what I can deduce from the information given, it looks like there is also no average and scrolls have been gotten from a large range of actions which determines that the random chance has to be quite high, I would not give a number as there is no way to really tell.
it appears there is also no specific scroll to an action, it appears there is a random scroll given when it drops. which means you should find any scroll doing one of the actions which so far has been determined to be fishing, mining, woodcutting and combat.
God' is nothing more than a construct created by man to inspire fear and promote order.
If you wish to see me struck down, for all these atrocities, use your own hands to do so, not 'God's'. |

| I got my scroll of ancient wood while I was woodcutting at Kingswood Forest.
The day I found the scroll was May 31st, but I don't recall how long I had been cutting there before the scroll dropped. I think I went there a couple of days after the island had opened, then did the three quest and went to Kingswood forest. I was probably cutting there for over a week.

I will continue to talk as a player because that is all I am at this point.
I understand the post from Fooz, I honestly get everyones frustration but I can not offer information I am not privvy to myself.
I had not worked on the scrolls themselves, when I worked on the team I worked on images, combat and a few other bits for calmere.
I get my original posts and how I came across, I am covering up nothing nor am I now insisting there is not an issue. but I have no means to render aid in this situation, that falls under the team as a whole and not one individual.

Not entirely sure I believe you. And if it isn't being discussed, that's concerning....
I don't think you can give an unbiased view, what you believe seems to be tempered by your personal affront to any people that negatively view the scroll mechanic (pretty much everyone in the game), and the fact you have access to more information than the average player whether you like it or not. |

| Has everyone whose gotten a scroll completed some/all of the Calmere Island quests? Or has anyone gotten a scroll without setting foot on the new island? I know when you complete the 'Cleaning the Lake' quest, Ko mentions something about scrolls so I wasn't sure if that's a prerequisite for getting scroll drops or not. |

| I think that's a major flaw, you shouldn't be able to get scrolls unless you have did the quests.
I also think they should have dropped on the island they can be used bit like the lost girl quest
