when I heard the news My world crumbled I felt sick and disgusted and hoped it was all just a sick joke.

| It breaks my heart that it takes an incident of this nature to remind some of us that behind the fantasy persona of an online game there is a real person, with real hopes and dreams, friends and loved ones.
I didnt know you outside of Syrnia, but you were always a fierce competitor in the Outlands. You taught me a lot about how it works out there. I'll always remember our battles. You were never one to run from a fight.

You my friend were just that!! An awesome friend. Even when we were in separate clans we always seemed to share a laugh...whether in world chat or in whispers. I will not forget when I would pass on my ABCDEFG Gummy Bear poems to you. We would laugh for hours about them.

| Vinilicious! Normally I am the most unemotional person you could know, but ive spent the last 40 minutes trying to write this and yet all ive managed is tears. I am genuinely gutted at the news I heard this morning.
First met you when you joined us at ~SaS~; we were a couple of the younger group there, we hit it off and for many years we grew up together. We had the same kind of humour and the same type of interests (drinking, women and partying). We always had a new story for each other and being the older of us I was always jealous that you had so much more in front of you! Either way, I still say your a scary ass looking woman!
Although you have left us in this life, im sure your already partying in the Sky! Beer in one hand and knowing you a selection of Caviar, Foie gras and those weird pickled fish in the other!
No matter where you are now, I know you'll be smiling and having fun, and after tonight I have another story to tell ya... but that can wait until the next time we meet! Until then, All the very best.. Nos da my friend! x

| When I first heard I assumed hecwas just messing with everbody. Its something I couldx see him doing he always had a wicked sense of humor and we shared some good laughs. I liked vin not because he was a great guy but because he could admit when he was wrong and never seemed to take anything too serious. |

| This is a sad loss. While I didn't know Vincius extremely well I always found him to be a fun and sincere person when we chatted in whispers. He played Syrnia in the right spirit and it's players like him who keep me playing the game after all these years. |

| I didn't know vincius very well, but his passing should serve as a reminder to all of us - to remember our mortality and leave behind something to be remembered by, even if over a game. I encourage all of you to strive for greatness, for all of us have the potential for greatness. Fellow Syrnians, I implore you to live your life to the fullest and enjoy your friendships, as Vincius did. You will be missed; but also remembered fondly.

I have always loved this poem. It's the poem that is on the last picture we have of my grandfather. I feel it applies here as well.
Vincius... You were a legend. You were player number four. You stuck with us and this silly online game for longer than anyone else did. Everyone will always remember you for that, and for the amazing, hilarious guy that you were.
I am utterly shocked by the news. It wasn't even that long ago that I last talked to you in chat... How is it that so quickly, I will never again have that experience? You were taken at the peak of your life, when you had everything ahead of you, and nothing to regret. These are always the worst deaths to hear of, and they touch me the most. Nobody should have to lose their life before they actually get to live their life, but sadly... C'est la vie.
This is a sad, sad day... I still have a hard time believing that you are no longer here. But, when things like this happen, we need to remember the wonderful times we have had, and then let go. But always remember. Always remember...
I will miss you dearly, Vincius. You couldn't understand how much I'll miss you...
