"if your a pirate and you leave skull do you still have access to the chat? and if your a pirate and you leave skull can you sail back when its not an invasion "

If you leave skull, you're no longer a pirate so no longer have access to pirate chat. You can only join/rejoin the pirates during a pirate invasion.

"At one point, there was a system so that an invasion on skull island would go until the monsters multiplied as well, but things have degraded."

That's not degrading. That's improving. The point to skull is to send invasions. Can't do that when the work areas needed to provide the resources are overrun by an invasion that could have been stopped.

Roen you can leave skull to go to certtain locations, such as Serpenthelm, Exroillia, Elven, Ogre, OLs Etc and retain Pirate chat and status. It is the Decison to leave and abandon being a pirate that causes loss of chat and negative fame etc.

How can you go to the island that is attacked to collect your reward if you're no longer a pirate anymore?

Since some pirates end up with several hours of jail time, and bot checks usually don't pop up while the timer is counting down for whatever you're doing, will you still get bot checks while you're in jail?

there aren't botchecks during jail time, and you can log off and the jail timer will continue to count down. Unless you intend to chat, it's normally wise to log off while in jail to prevent thefts.

Well it seams to me that regardless if it may seem fun to make pirate invasion as well as fight it off that the motivation to do it on and on fades with time. So it happens that high level players don't hassle with fighting of invasion as well as 50-200 tl players go to skull island only to get exp faster.

I recon that it would be good if there would be more into it. For example geting more and greater rewards from invasions as well as getting more from fighting them of. Also reputation could be used to get some really nice things etc. Sorry for my ignorance if something like that allready on power, as far as posts above go i didn+t get a fealing that apart from fun there is any other thing in it .

thnx for answers/coments .

Same goes for making Keelhails if you have CL 25 of higher

The of should be changed into an "or"

The timers depend heavily on where you are. There are actually places with just as low/if not lower timers on the mainlands now. It's just many people don't utilize them. Case in point, Webbers Island which had 0 players working at Webbed Forest. Far as experience goes, it was only due to the areas having fewer players, which isn't the typical case anymore.

Invasion-wise, there are plenty who donate that are higher in levels. You also can't rightly pin down any level group that's donating either considering that all donations go in as anonymous unless you're telling others in chat.

More pirates = higher timers, which in turn means less resources collected overall because of the increase in timers. Not everyone donates when they come to Skull and are simply there boosting the timers. There has to be a fair balance of the number of people on Skull; too few and not enough resources get collected quickly enough, but too many and we end up like Remer and don't collect as much.

Also, telling of invasions by a pirate tends to lead to the invasion failing, meaning 0gp and 0 negative fame will be earned. Basically, if the invasion is announced in chat ahead of time, then the invasion will fail and all the work is for naught.

banak, no. The bigger the invasions, the more time it takes to capture the town. The more time it takes to capture a town, the more fighters who come and then there's even less chance of succeeding. If it's too small, the capture times will be lower, but there will also be a higher chance of having them all killed off by just a few fighters. Again, the key word here is balance.

Quote: Only way to leave Skull and return to Remer is to have your own Small Fishing Boat. To make one you need 2k wood and level 20 construction skill. There are usually other pirates with the required level to create one for you, just ask in Pirate chat (#4) and you'll likely be able to find someone that will trade 2k wood or 4k gp from you for one.
isnt pirate chat #6? or [6] because [4] is trade chat

I am very glad for how the pirates have an honor code that is acceptable across the board between the pirates if someone dies on skull they usually get a 80 - 100 % of their items returned food and wood and iron ore does not count in that but if you are a decent pirate and you see that others are also different on this island it is totally separate from the world affairs and bickering for the most part. YOU have the odd few that tend to try to overextend themselves here but not usually we are pirates by jove and behave like bloody pirates. Honor betwixt thieves and the like.
