She slowly turned around in a circle, hand resting on her elven two handed sword. A rustling of leaves to her right. Ears twitched, listening, picking up everything. Her eyes pierced the undergrowth. Slowly she drew her sword...
This was not a situation he wanted to be in. He was only a Barghrag, he shouldn't be facing these situations until he was of a Vururth standard. He knew his chances were slim, but he had no other choice. Club raised above his head, he made his move. She couldn't have seen him coming..
The edge of her mouth curled upwards, the Barghrag's always fell for it. In one movement her sword was out, resting in both hands. Still he came for her. She pulled the sword back, adjusted her position. He was less than 5 feet away. Time stood still, only the beating of her heart could be heard. She made her move. Sword cutting through the air, straight through clumps of flesh, decapitating the beast.
The elves continued their march towards ogre outpost. There was nothing the Ogres could do, they're numbers were too vast. The strongest of the elven mages were ordered to head for Lava Lake upon arrival at Ogre lake. The Elves did not waste their time with silver. Wood was more important for them. A forest spell was cast across the lake, already it was starting to look like home.
Scouts were sent ahead to ogre cave entrance 1. There came the dreaded call... "Humans..!"
