| So with the QOL stuff that has come up and a lot of it looks fantastic such as the new world map.
I have a proposal to discuss more themes in the game (Again)
This proposal is Dynamic themes. under the donation option
What are Dynamic Themes?
Dynamic themes are themes that change based on events or time of the year where the interface of the game IE the screen you see when the game is running (Inventory, Center Space, Chat Box and Stats) would look different such as colours images and such to fit a specific theme.
What These Themes Could be?
| Seasonal (Spring, Summer,Autumn,Winter |
| Holiday (Birthday,Easter,Halloween,Christmas) |
| Global Holidays/Hallmark events (4th of July, Valentines day, Mothers day, St Georges day, St Patricks Day, Lunar new year, Australia day etc.) |
How would they work?
Dynamic themes would work according to the date of each specific theme with a few minor exceptions.
The dates would mean at 00:00 the theme of the game would change in accordance to whatever event is occuring.
The minor exceptions to dates would be Syrnian Holiday events for the big 4 Holidays which are Birthday, Easter, Halloween and Christmas.
These themes would change when the admins have set the holiday to start, so once the Holiays are initiated and the NPC and Island are open this would be when the theme changes.
Can I turn them off?
Yes you can, I would advice there to be an option in the option page where you are able to toggle on and off Dynamic themes.
If I turn it off do I lose the themes?
As part of my concept I would like to say no, I think once you have donated for the dynamic themes you can have the option that if Dynamic themes are turned off, you canchoose one of the many themes associated with the feature as a static theme which means until you change the theme that is what will display.
Any other Notes?
This is a work in progress concept but I would definitely like to hear feedback for it as well as any possible ideas for themes in the future that could work nicely other than the simple red and black we currently have.

Additional Info based off feedback and questions
. You are effectively Donating for a number of themes, the Dynamic feature is an addition to the themes that players can choose to use if they do not want to keep actively changing themes.
. To streamline the complexity of this idea as we could go forever naming holidays and special events I proposed a simplified version of the Holidays list to specifically work for Syrnia themed holidays such as the 4 seasons and the big 4 Holidays. we can always add additions like New years, Lunar new years and Valentines day which are globally celebrated the same time by everyone every year.

| A few good points lets see if I can cover them.
Savage: The Dynamic aspect is one feature of the donation, the option to have it automaticly change can be turned off and on, the other aspect of the donation is each theme would be readily available as a static theme for the player.
so as an example say you donate you would be getting an automatic function that can be turned on and off as well access to a number of themes.
Termamatrix: So There would be a bit of tweaking here and arguably a bit of code, however I would believe there would be a way to streamline it based off region so if you have selected UK you could arguably grab dates from the gregorian calendar that would be specific to the UK, similar with US and Australia and other countries i the world.
This would allow themes to Dynamically work based off what your region celebrates.
Another option for simplicity could well be keeping the themes seasonal and Holiday themed meaning we have spring summer autumn winter birthday easter halloween and christmas. with optional additions global events like Valentines day and Lunar New years as well as New years itself.
this simplicity would stick to th core basics of celebrations within Syrnia at a global level that is celebrated by everyone and not a few.

What do you mean select a region? How many regions there would be? Are you going to adapt it to each country etc.? Region is not the solution.
Probably we could have a check box or something to select which events we want to see.
The idea seems nice and I am all for it if it does not take time of other developing.

the response I refer to is the one where we could Limit themes to Syrnia Specifics as well as potentially looking at globally celebrated Holidays.
Such as seasons: Spring Summer Autumn and Winter, Syrnia Holidays: Birthday, Easter, Halloween and Christmas. And lastly globally celebrated holidays like New Years, Lunar New year, Valentines day.
I think the regions response can likely be ignored now that time has passed and more thought has gone into it.

| I would pay for something like varamexia had where you can move the UI and boxes around on the same layout it already is, just in an order that you prefer Crystal. Like inventory next to map, disable auto sorting in inventory and manual sort etc, gear loadouts etc. Not just a recolor of something we already have in red or black. If thats negative to you, idk what to say.

| It's not something I would outright pay for. If I want to change my theme for the holidays I use FF and it has free themes.
That said, I would pay for preset outfits for arch cave running etc. Rather than having to click on every single piece of equipment in my inventory to put it on, I could just click a button and poof done for me. |

| The game doesn't need any more donation only options. Making the game unrecognisable based upon financial contributions just risks more pay to win aspects. The game should either be free to play, or subscription based, not two tiered to the point people are playing two different games. |
