| Dear Syrnians,
September 2005. You joined syrnia 13 days ago, you were player number 10989.
18 years have passed since then, imagine that!
Created by fellow dutch game developer M2H, Syrnia was one of the first online games that hooked me. It was a time when clan rivalries where still a big thing and The Outlands could be a crowded place.😉
Some of you may remember DW-HQ.com, the first Syrnia information website created by the dominant clan at the time (The Dark Warriors [DW]). From a sense of pride and because I thought I could do it better, I created TLGrounds.com with detailed game information and an improved score section. Lots of clan members and experienced players contributed with content, and it soon became the most popular Syrnia fansite. It was the first real website I built too. All in all a great experience looking back.
Then life went on. I quit the game itself a long, long time ago, but until now I always kept the site up until now due to a sense of personal nostalgia. However, all good things must come to an end.
Since I know some players are still using TLGrounds after all these years, I want to give the community the opportunity to take over the website if somebody wants to. You'll get a complete copy of the production code and database. Also the cron jobs which are responsible for calling the Syrnia API and scraping the score section. The content has been out of date for ages but can easily be updated with some effort. There’s even ad revenue coming in. If no-one wants to do it, the website will go offline after the current hosting plan runs out.
If anyone is interested, send me a direct message and we can work out the terms. I don’t login very often, so keep in mind replying could be slow.

| I dont have the means to keep up the server, but if someone were to take it over, I would be more than interested in keeping the data alive and up to date. Ive got a decent amount of information saved up. |
