| I guess we're doing one post per scroll.
The two hidden quests on Calmere island are Open Sesame and Paying the Fee.
Both require a scroll of the palace to trigger. Paying the Fee consumes the scroll. Open Sesame does not consume the scroll.
Open Sesame -
0. Can be triggered by visiting the Barracks with the scroll. Click the link Approach the Barracks.
1. Visit the Palace at Rima City Centre.
2. Kill 1000 Salamanders.
3. Provide 200 longswords at barracks.
4. Kill 350? Yetis.
5. Kill the Yeti King.
6. Return to the Barracks.
> You get 10k exp in each combat skill for finishing this quest.

0. Paying the Fee - triggered at Mount Tirnus.
1. Pay 100k GP and give up the scroll.
> 1500 attack exp for finishing this quest.
--------
After the second quest, you will now see a link at Mount Tirnus to enter the caves.

| i didnt find anything special in the caves besides the smelting. There's some flavorful text at some of the locations, but i think its just hyping up the tiro smelting at the end. Ill post the location text here next time I go to smelt.

| Tirnus cave - entrance:
As you step through the cave's mouth, you still feel the blistering wind from behind biting at the back of your neck.
The cavern is lit from outside, and you make your way forward along a central passage.
Tirnus cave - central cavern:
The light is dimming, but you can make out multiple passages leading from this chamber. One could easily find themself lost in here if they weren't careful.
You feel a dangerous presence emanating from the dark tunnels leading deeper into the cave.
Tirnus cave - north tunnel 1:
As you follow the northern tunnel, you start to hear a distant, rhythmic clanging from deeper within.
Curiosity pushes you forward.
Tirnus cave - north tunnel 2:
The clanging has grown louder, and you now recognize it as hammers against metal. A foundry, deep within the mountain? As you ponder this, you realize the tunnel has begun to grow slightly brighter as you venture deeper.
Tirnus cave - north tunnel 3:
You finally see the end of the tunnel a bit farther ahead. Here, the hammers are almost deafening.
Flickering light from within momentarily blinds you, so you take a minute to adjust. However, any wasted time within these tunnels could spell your doom, so tread carefully.
Tirnus cave - north cavern:
You finally step into the northern cavern. As your eyes finish acclimating to the now omnipresent light, you survey the area.
There is, indeed, a foundry deep within the heart of Mt. Tirnus.
The forges are radiating an incredible amount of heat, and multiple smiths are working with metals you've never before seen.
Realization sets in that you are standing in the presence of some of Syrnia's greatest smiths.
