| As posted in the announcement last week the Mod team will be again starting up the Syrnian focus groups in the not to distant future and therefore we are pleased to open invitations to players wishing to be part of the future of Syrnia. We would ask that if you are interested you place a Yes in this thread. All other responses will be deleted by the Mod team as this is not a discussion thread.
It is intended that we accept about 15-20 players to join the team and expressions of interest are invited from all players regardless of punishment history, time playing the game and location. We will of course try to accept a wide variety of skill specialists/ age etc and will also look at the daily hours played as you must have the spare time to dedicate to the role. You will be required to attend MSN discussions at least once a month and may be tasked with looking into certain areas so please do not apply if you do not have access to MSN and/ or dont have the time to commit.
Positivity within the group is a must and therefore we would also ask that all candidates are able to look into the future and what we can do to better the game rather than dwelling on any problems in the past as co-operation within the team will be vital. This is also not an opportunity to gather a personal wish list, you must have a flexible approach and understand that not all ideas will be implemented. Also, as the Mod team now see this as a long term platform for the future of Syrnia it may also be the case that we rotate players after a number of months to get fresh ideas etc, again if you are not able to deal with these kind of rejections then please do not apply.
Leading the focus groups will be Cradle and Ibiss. Both players have been part of the mod team for some time, are dedicated to the role and have a vast amount of experience in playing the game.
The role of the focus group will be to look at possible updates for the game from small tweaks to events to possible future islands etc, and is a great opportunity to put something back into the game and improve enjoyment for the community. For those who were in the previous focus group run by Spin, we have a nice list of possible ideas which will act as a platform to build on. We thank you all for your time and effort and you may of course re-apply to join the focus group should you wish to do so.
