| It is untrue that newbies do not read these guides. Actually I used another post like this extensively when I started the game up until I discovered dw-hq (which likely should be in any guide). The reason you don't notice newbies reading the guides is that (like me) the ones who do are'nt in chat asking "where do I chop wood?" and "How do I make a house?" Anyway good job. |

Although I'd like to add one thing about the food - farming:
Since you already have a house save 750 gp for the first farmland - you'll get plenty of basic seeds (radish, beet and carrots) while woodcutting in Isri, so why not put them to use?
For farming:
- click on "check farmlands" in house menu, then choose "Plant seeds", select which seeds and how many of them to plant. After planting the seeds you can leave and take care of other business at hand untill the crops ripe. Time untill harvest is slightly variable, check the "Farming research" thread in off-topic section for detailed information.
When crops are ripe their icon on the farming ground changes appropriately (see manual for icons). It is enough to click on ripe crop to begin harvest and receive soem nourishing food.
Also while a spade is neccesary for preparing the land for farming, planting and harvesting crops does not requirre any tools. |

| Yes, you will notice that you need less seconds for chopping wood, etc.
Also when your level raises the amount of time per chop, etc. decreaes.
