| Welcome to the 49th competition and to celebrate the most recent update there will be a GLADIATOR theme, so to the Questions:
1. Short sword used by Roman soldiers
2. Person who bought and resold tickets for a gladiator fight
3. Roman empire salutation meaning "Hail"
4. Punishment which consisted in killing one in every ten soldiers in a cohort
5. Specialist Roman soldier (such as surgeon, scout, ...) that was generally away from fighting
6. Place where Gladiator battles took place (other than "Arena")
7. Historian and senator of the Roman empire
8. Siege weapon used against fortifications
9. Roman province containing part of today's Switzerland
10. Oath that a Roman citizen had to take in order to become a soldier
To win this competition you must answer all 10 Questions correctly. The winner will be the first person to 100% answer all questions. You must not edit or delete your posts and you are limited to 1 guess every 30 minutes. The winner will receive a Desert Arena Medal
A couple of clues:
The first letter of each answer spells out GLADIATORS
Every answer is a single Latin word.
Please bear in mind that if no correct answer is received before I go to bed that I may only get to the winner in the morning.
