Farming enables you to harvest crops. You can buy farmland at your house but you will need gold to buy it, and a spade to prepare the farmland.

When you have gotten your farmland you can plant seeds.
Seeds can be found in many ways. You could either find them while Woodcutting, monsters could drop seeds when defeated, or you may find them inside special boxes and chests.
